Consultation
We talk through occasion, budget and style, and select cloth from the range at our Grayston Centre studio.

Measurement
A full set of body measurements is taken by hand, along with posture and fit preferences specific to you.

Fitting
Your garment is cut and basted, then fitted in person — adjustments are marked and refined before final construction.

Collection
The finished piece is pressed, checked against every measurement, and handed over ready to wear.

Every garment that leaves My Tailor is cut from your own measurements and finished by hand — not pulled from a size chart and hemmed to fit. It's a slower way of dressing men, and it's the only way we work.

Good to know before you visit.
How long does a bespoke suit take?
Most custom-made suits take two to three weeks from first measurement to final fitting, depending on cloth availability and how many fittings you need.
Do you make matric farewell suits?
Yes — we cut matric farewell suits to measure in a wide range of cloths and colours, and build in time around exams and farewell dates.
Can you fit a full wedding party?
Yes — we fit grooms and groomsmen individually while coordinating cloth, colour and styling across the whole group.
Where is My Tailor based?
We're at Grayston Centre, 135 Grayston Drive, Sandton, Johannesburg — walk-ins and consultations by appointment are both welcome.
